Publishing your web site

After you create your website - you need to ensure you have a file either named, ' index.htm/index.html/index.shmtl or default.htm/default.html.' This file will act as the start of your website - commonly known as the home page.

If you don't have a file or page named as above - your website will not display. Instead - the default page installed when you signed up will be your home page.

To transfer your files to your web space - you will then need to point your ftp client to our server as follows:

Ftp Server: ftp.zimbabweonline.info
Username: xxxx
Password: yyyy
Remote directory: / (forward slash)

Please note sometimes entering the forward slash in the remote directory is not important depending on your ftp client.

You will need to replace ' xxxx' and 'yyyy' respectively with your unique login details - the ones you used at signup.
